We forget ourself.<strong> Awareness and forgetting ourself are opposites.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s come back to awareness of body and mind.<\/p>\n<p>The way to begin the yoga practice and teaching is to <strong>become aware of oneself.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Odaka Yoga\u00ae there is a way that the mind can be aware and not slip away, bringing the mind and our awareness to the area just below the navel.<\/p>\n<p>For us in Odaka, this is the best way, accomplished by seeing the mind move and stray. Each time we see the mind move away, it will come back to ourself, without forcing it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When the mind moves we feel it<\/strong>. When the mind strays and we know so, we will be in the right way.
