“As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.” – Rumi

As the year is unwinding, it seems like a perfect time to take stock. Many times we forget to live in the moment; to celebrate

[the moment] in all its magnificence. Overwhelmed by daily life, we allow ourselves to be carried away. No longer centered and stable; no longer fluid and adaptable because we are overcome with our search for happiness. But, what is happiness if not the sacredness of living in the moment? Focused on a state of attention, we rediscover our warrior self, ready to defend our time. That empty space that allows our awareness to manifest itself completely and simply. This is the meaning of being a warrior in this lifetime, to defend our state of awareness, our moments of expansion, our Dharma.

This is why our (Francesca and Roberto) wish for this new year is not a promise or a task to accomplish in the future because what exists is only here and now – to be an Odaka warrior means to be present with oneself and in harmony with the world that surrounds you. To be, fully and quietly, love and strength! As Rumi’s aphorism states: there is nothing to search for, when you begin on life’s journey, it will be clearly in front of you.

Blessed be 2016 for all Odakis in the world….Let’s rock the world with love!
